Welcome to St. Cyprian's Anglican Church!

At St. Cyprian’s our mission is to “seek to live and make known, in word and action, the good news of God’s love in the world.” We are a diverse, multi-cultural congregation and our building serves as a  vibrant community centre in our neighbourhood. We welcome folks of all ages and backgrounds to join us for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

Sunday Worship

Our main Sunday service is at 10:30 a.m., featuring traditional hymns and modern songs, Anglican and Presbyterian liturgies, practical teaching, and inspiring sermons.

The Tri-Church Community

Since 1970, we have been working together with other churches as part of the vibrant Tri-Church community. We currently share with Iona Presbyterian in our Sunday worship and other ministries.

Staff

Our experienced ministry team is always ready to help. We actively encourage volunteer participation, and we're open to new ideas.

Join Us for "Alpha"

WE START AN EXCITING new Alpha programme at noon on September 28 after church. A free lunch will be followed by a video presentation on key topic and a time for small group discussions. We aim to finish by 1:30 p.m. All welcome!

What Is "Alpha"?

In the Bible, Jesus refers to himself as the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end (Revelation 1:8,11; 21:6; 22:13).

It is through a relationship with Jesus that we can know God and experience his forgiveness, love, and acceptance (John 1:14, John 14:6-9, Matthew 11:27). "Jesus is the lense through which we see God." (Toby, AFS)

Alpha is the first step to exploring the big questions of life and discovering who Jesus is. It’s an understanding of but also an encounter with the person of Jesus that is the most important part of what we believe.

Alpha covers the basics of the Christian faith with a simple overview, but it is suitable  for people at all stages on their spiritual journeys and allows for free discussion and open questioning along the way.
